The nomination period is open for the 2015 Hugo Awards and John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Eligibility to Nominate
You may nominate for the 2015 Hugo Awards and John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer if, on or before January 31, 2015, 11:59 p.m. PST:
- You were registered as an attending or supporting member of Sasquan (the 2015 World Science Fiction Convention), and/or
- You were registered as an attending or supporting member of MidAmeriCon II (the 2016 World Science Fiction Convention), and/or
- You were an attending or supporting member of Loncon 3 (the 2014 World Science Fiction Convention).
The rules and criteria for the eligibility of works and organizations for the 2015 Hugo Awards and John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer can be found at the Hugo site HERE. But generally, it is open to works first published in 2015. This includes my short story, “Nickel Stream,” published by Perihelion Science Fiction in October 2015.
